The existing Gymnasium Building was upgraded both internally and externally, with the only remaining elements being the structure of the building. The building was re-clad, upgraded insulation added, and all new windows and doors were installed, including large vertical sliding doors which connect the sports hall to the adjacent external playground area.

The sports hall space was upgraded with and new timber sports floor, new sports equipment, new mechanical cooling and new lighting. There is also a large LED screen installed for use during school assemblies and various presentation events. All toilets, change rooms and shower facilities were upgraded, and the entryways were widened, and an observation area provided to the sports hall. A kitchenette was added to the first floor, and the sports offices and multipurpose space were also upgrade to have all new fittings, fixtures, lighting and heating and cooling installed.
